00979 Bunnell Standing Bronze.jpg

Bearded man in a robe standing in front of a door with an inscription, "Knock and it shall be opened unto you." This work marks the Bunnell family gravesite.

The bronze male figure stands before granite door with a bronze ring door handle. Figure has its proper right side toward the door at a 90 degree angle, and his head is down, facing the door. The figure wears loosely draped cloth, and has a long beard and flowing hair. His proper left arm is in a slight arc at the side, with his hand holding the garment fold just below the hip. The proper right arm is at the side, with the hand forward in a loose fist, poised to knock at the door. The proper right leg is bent at the knee, with the foot on the top step. The proper left leg is straight.
