Steubenville, Ohio (Jefferson County) is the location of 25 unique murals commemorating the city, citizens, and historical significance. The majority of the murals are located downtown and two are located in Hollywood Plaza just 1.5 miles from downtown. This mural is a replacement for the original (1945) that once stood at the Jefferson County Courthouse. It's believed to be the largest honor roll dedication in the United States.
