Loudonville War Memorial

Loudonville War Memorial

A three part stone display honoring the local soldiers who died in various wars. The main, center stone bears the carved words, "Lest We Forget" and holds a metal plaque titled, "Honor Roll, World War" that lists the names of those who died in WWI.

The stones on the left and right of the main monument have eagles carved into the top and hold the names of those who died in WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Afghanistan War.

The main, center stone holds a metal plaque titled, "Honor Roll, World War" that lists the names of those who died in WWI. In addition to the list of names there is a quote at the top that reads,
"To commemorate the names of our men who answered their country's call and served for liberty and democracy in the World War ending November 11th, 1918."
The quote on the bottom reads,
"The right is more precious than peace. We shall fight for the things we have always carried nearest our hearts, to such a task we dedicate our lives."

A plaque on the sidewalk reads:
"Kyle Spreng's Eagle Scout Project; June 2001"
Donors are listed on the plaque.
