A life-size bronze sculpture on a stone base of Charles F. Kettering as a young man walking while reading a book and carrying more books slung across his shoulder. John A. Ranally Jr. is the sculptor.
The rear of the statue's granite base has two portrait etchings of Kettering created by artist Christine A. Patton-Snyder of Perrysville, OH.
This statue is accompanied by an Ohio Historical Marker and is located in the park west of the Loudonville Public Library.
