Minerva Milling Company Mural
Date Unknown / Creator Unknown / Minerva
This mural is a part of a series of murals in downtown Minerva, Ohio. Each panel displays historical scenes of the village, including here the Minerva Milling Company. In 1828, the original log mill was torn down and erected in a much larger frame building. The building was torn down in 1928. The mural shows the large three-level mill with customers outside. To the right of the building is a train picking up large bags of flour to deliver to various stores around the region. The mural is an enlargement of a painting by Ohio artist Dave Barnhouse.
