There are so many murals scenes painted on the flood cement wall in Wellsville, Ohio- each one depicting important parts of the small river community. For sake of time, the entry is broken up into parts one and two. Each entry here details several impressive murals.

Back Story -

In 1936 the Ohio River flooded its bank and crested at 56 feet, which put most of the town underwater. Then the next year the river flooded the town again, so in 1938 the Army Corps of Engineers built the flood wall that exists today.
