A life-size bronze sculpture on a stone base of Charles F. Kettering as a young man walking while reading a book and carrying more books slung across his shoulder.
The rear of the statue's granite base has two portrait etchings of Kettering created by artist Christine A. Patton-Snyder of Perrysville, OH.
This statue is accompanied by an Ohio Historical Marker and is located in the park west of the Loudonville Public Library.
