Wind Wave

A 14-foot tall abstract steel sculpture depicting a wave form atop a tall, slightly curved stem-like support. The wave made of stainless steel with a patina coating that protects it from corrosion and is mounted on a bearing that allows the wave to move with the wind. The stem and base are made of weathering steel that forms the stable rust-like appearance.
The sculpture is located on the campus of Marion Technical College, just north of the pond, in between Bryson Hall and Morrill Hall.
