Light Sails

Two abstract forms symbolize the sails of Christopher Columbus' ship. One form is long and slightly curved, and the other is taller and circular. They are constructed as grids of steel which hold 12"" square glass panels which are fused, carved, and laminated. The grids are supported by concrete posts and inwardly curved walls.
