An abstract bronze sculpture that rises vertically from the base and almost resembles a bone-like shape.
The sculpture is located outside the Beeghly Library at Ohio Wesleyan University.
The sculptor, Ebb Haycock, was a professor of fine arts at Ohio Wesleyan and the driving force behind the creation of OWU’s foundry and cast metal program. Haycock retired in 1985 and died in 1919.
The sculpture was given to the university by one of Haycock's three children, Lorry Haycock Luikart, and her husband, Jack Luikart.

Artist Notes
Haycock graduated from Kutztown State Teachers College in Pennsylvania and received a master of art degree from Columbia University. He served in the Navy as a staff artist during World War II and taught at Lehigh University prior to OWU.
