This bas relief work depicts Julia Chatfield (who founded the Ursulines of Brown County) holding a cross with leaves, which symbolizes the planting of the Cross in the Wilderness. The work was carved from Indiana limestone by Sister Agatha Fitgerald, a member of the Order of Saint Ursuline and the Ursulines of Brown County. In 2014 the work was granted the Ohio Memory project award by the Ohio Historical Society.
