This bronze statue of Alexander Hamilton portrays him during an oration, holding his written speech in his proper left hand and pointing toward the sky with his proper right hand. The 13-star American flag is arranged as a cape around his shoulders and behind him. According to the artist's website, the statue stands at 12 feet, 4 inches and is the first larger-than-life portrayal of Hamilton (for whom the city of Hamilton, OH is named).

The work was obtained through the efforts of the Hamilton, Ohio City of Sculpture, Inc. project.
