This life-size bronze work depicts an older gentleman with a book open in his lap, reading from it with two juveniles. A young male holding additional books sits at his feet on his proper right, while a younger female child standings, leaning into his embrace on his proper left.

The work was obtained through the efforts of the Hamilton, Ohio City of Sculpture, Inc. project.
