Our Lady of Fatima

A nine and a half foot tall colored fiberglass statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary that is part of a shrine dedicated to apparitions of the Virgin Mary that occurred in Fatima, Portugal in 1917.
The statue was erected in 1964 by George B. Quatman as part of his Sandy Beach Amusement Park in Russells Point, Ohio. Our Lady of Fatima overlooks Indian Lake from what is called "St. Mary's Point" and is sometimes known as "Our Lady of the Lake."
The statue stands on top of an over 20 foot tall concrete pedestal with a metal framework around and over top the statue.
