A small stone figure reported to have been a hitching post for notable nineteenth-century Cleveland photographer James F. Ryder, whose biography is titled "Voigtlander and I." The sculpture bears the inscription "Ryder Beats 'Em All." (The first name and middle initial on the sign is an error.)
