Horse and Buggy
Date Unknown / Chris McConnell / Mesopotamia
Large horse and buggy comprised of wooden slats and rubber horse tack. The sculpture is located near Mesopotamia's general store, which is a historical building, and celebrates the Amish community in the area.
McConnell's goal was to create angles using straight edges, and, according to the owner of the general store, the "only measuring tool he used was from his fingertips to his elbow.”
