2002 / Carolina Ramersdorfer / Kettering
This sculpture, carved from 26,000 pounds of Indiana Limestone, incorporates an opening in a geometric cube which reveals inner space where transformation of thought can develop.
The work was commissioned as part of the 2002 Kettering Rocks! International Stone Sculpting Exposition. During the exposition, eight sculptors from around the world were given 20 days to create their works in Delco Park. The completed works were then relocated to various public sites throughout the city of Kettering. This sculpture is currently installed at the Rosewood Arts Centre.
