The focal point of the 1.8 acre site is a Celebration Column, some 50ft in height faced in sculpted brick. A computer is located inside the base of the column, sits in a raised earthen platform and is surrounded by the Celebration Plaza. The Positive Mental Attitude Walk is comprised of a semicircular trellis which embraces the Celebration Column on the south side of the site. To the north, the visitor descends by either of twin curving ramps from the Celebration Plaza to the sculpture ""Cancer - There's Hope"" by Victor Salmones. This consists of a grouping of eight life-sized figures, depicting family members, placed on a 30ft diameter concrete slab.
