Bedrich Smetana, Composer

Bust of Czech composer, Smetana, sitting atop a large rectanglar concrete base with inscriptions, a plaque and carved designs. The carved designs on the upper face of the base, just under the sculpture feature ancient people and animals walking, playing music, creating crafts and discovering science all in an orderly procession. In the center of the design, directly under the sculpture, is a seated deity holding a lamp in PR hand and a frame in PL hand.
