Catherin of Sienna Angled View 1

A slightly smaller than life-size bronze cast statue of Saint Catherine of Sienna, a Dominican tertiary and mystic who lived in Italy in the 1300s.

She has a similar pose as the Dominic De Guzman statue, with her left hand down at her side and clutching her robe, while her right hand is held up at her chest, but instead of holding a book, she is reaching to touch a cross that hangs around her neck. Her gaze is straight forward and purposeful.

Located on the campus of Ohio Dominican University between Erskine Hall and Spangler Learning Center (the university library).
