A small boy sits on a concrete wall with his proper left leg hang over the edge and his proper right leg tucked beneath. He has an open book on his lap and his proper right hand holds a piece of food and is extended toward a curious squirrel. To the left of the concrete wall stands a young girl in a dress, holding an apple in her proper left hand and her right arm hangs at her side, holding a large doll that touches the ground.
