This life-size bronze statue depicts a teenage girl sitting on a bench reading a book and is installed on the front lawn of the Ripley Library. The work, created by Ohio sculptor George Danhires, was unveiled on May 26, 2007. It was donated by the family of Ripley resident Louise Helbling Wayson.
