Kossuth front2.jpg

Full length portrait of Hungarian politician and father of Hungarian Democracy Louis Kossuth. He is dressed in formal 19th century garb with a cape. His left foot is stepped forward and his right hand gestures skyward, The sheathed sword gripped in his left hand is a symbol of his power, status, and his tenacity in the fight for freedom.

Kossuth was Hungary's greatest orator. He fought for the freedom of the Hungarian people with his eloquent writings and speeches. He was so admired and respected as a speaker, that even the leading orators in the US and Great Britain bent their knees to his prowess. His likeness is captured in the middle of a rousing speech, forever inspiring the hearts and minds of the people who see his actions echoed in history.
