Ohio Fallen Heroes Memorial Front Monument

A large memorial consisting of several sculptures dedicated to men and women of the Armed Forces from Ohio who have died since September 11, 2001 in the fight against global terrorism.

The memorial is comprised of a black granite monument in the shape of Ohio with an eagle and flag in the background and the seals of the branches of the U.S. military at the entrance to the memorial; a field of white crosses with the names, ranks, and death dates of service members; A bronze sculpture of military boots, rifle, helmet and dog tags, backed by an inscribed granite wall; and a tall black pillar with the seals of the 5 branches of the U.S. military and an eternal flame on top.

Located in Sunbury, Ohio, off W Cherry Street close to the Community Library.
