A stainless angle, rod, pipe, cast bronze and stone sculpture by Kevin Lyles that represents The Ohio Agricultural Research And Development Center mission to "enhance the well-being of the people of Ohio, the nation and world through research on foods, agriculture, family and the environment".
The inscription reads: "'The Fruit of Inquiry' Kevin Lyles 2016. The blocks in 'The Fruit of Inquiry' represent the diversity of research at OADRC. Scattered throughout are bronze castings that allude to the focus of that research and the state's agriculture. The base of Ohio glacial stone and stainless steel symbolizes Ohio's vast land and water resources. Commissioned by the College of Food, Agriculture. and Environmental Science. Funded through the Ohio Percent for Art Program."
